POLLUTION
is the introduction of harmful materials into the environment. These harmful materials are called pollutants. Pollutants can be natural, such as volcanic ash. They can also be created by human activity, such as trash or runoff produced by factories. Pollutants damage the quality of air, water, and land thus may result to a phenomena known as Climate Change.
AIR POLLUTION
Air pollution happens when chemicals are released into the air through harmful gases, burning of fuels, and other by products of modern human life.
WATER POLLUTION
Water pollution happens when materials or energy added to water causes an imbalance in the ecosystem.
LAND POLLUTION
Soil pollution, also called land pollution, is more than trash on the land. Soil pollution is human caused or human related and the change exceeds natural checks and balances.
